Na próximo dia 12 de Outubro às 10h30, David Brumley, diretor do CyLab irá dar uma palestra no DCC intitulada "The Future of Cyber-autonomy".
David Brumley é professor associado da Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) e CEO e co-fundador da ForAllSecure, uma empresa que cria ferramentas de segurança cibernética que encontra e corrige vulnerabilidades de software, de forma automática. Especialista em segurança e em aprendizagem adaptativa, Brumley também dirige o CyLab, instituto de investigação de segurança e privacidade da CMU, e atua como mentor da equipa de hackers "Plaid Parliament of Pwning" do grupo de investigação de segurança da CMU.
A palestra é realizada em parceria com a Embaixada dos Estados Unidos da América e será apresentada em inglês.
O local da palestra será no Auditório Ferreira da Silva, sendo a entrada aberta a todos os interessados em ciber-segurança e sujeita à lotação da sala.
